THE DEAL:  It's Thursday, and I'm finally headed back home for a few days before heading out to New Orleans.  It's been a very, very interesting month.  One that I'll never forget.  Yesterday, I got to see a statue of the "Aggie Four", a group of four young men who, back in the '60s, staged a sit-in at the local Woolworth's lunch counter after being refused service for being black.  And even though they feared for their lives after the sit-in, I still can't knock their hustle.

THE DEAL:  It's Sunday Slam time, so I figured, in honor of "Anti-Love" week AND the NBA All-Star Game, I'd post a video clip from the movie Love and Basketball.  I'm on my way back to NYC today, after one of the best trips to L.A. I've experienced.  Didn't get a chance to see a lot of my homies, but still ... all in all, not a bad way to spend "Anti-Love" week.  Next stop, Greensboro, NC.  It never stops like a Brand New Heavies record. :)

THE DEAL:  This is what I was singing to Jill Scott this morning, after seeing her rip up the stage at the Gibson Amphitheater herr in LA last night.  She was phenomenal, and almost made me forgo the "Anti-Love" week theme just to post one of her songs.  However, I'm nothing if not loyal, and Jilly won't want me to betray the theme I live for, would she?  I think not.  Anyway, here's a scoop for you:  Jill is dating her drummer.  His name is John Roberts.  He's black with a mohawk.  There, don't say I never gave you anything.  I will now go cook some rocks.  Grrrr.
